Annabel Poate-Joyner is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist. Over her exciting and challenging  career of over 30 years to date, Annabel has worked across Adult Mental Health, Learning Disability Services, and Occupational Health services, working with individuals, couples and families, and within teams and organisations.

Annabel worked in the NHS until 1998 when she left to work in full-time private practice and has a thriving portfolio consultancy working mainly across London and the south.

Annabel delivers clinical services directly to clients in face-to-face and online sessions and also delivers Mental Health Training, Audit and Policy Development  as a Mental Health Consultant.


Annabel also works with a hand-picked team of clinical associates, consultant clinical psychologists and psychiatrists, EMDR therapists, counsellors and mental health professionals offering NICE approved therapies for the full-range of common mental health issues such as depression, anxiety disorders, bereavement and loss, adjustment disorders, and offers a wide range of psychological psychotherapeutic interventions using a CBT framework, IPT and integrative approaches.

Annabel Poate-Joyner is a Chartered Clinical Psychologist and Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society and a Registered Practitioner Psychologist with the Health Professions Council, and holds full Professional Liability Insurance.
